The border is both a physical and a virtual barrier that kills, segregates, pollutes, and above all it is a strategic point of control for multinational corporations. The border is a mechanism where rights are denied to both people and the earth. It is a monument to a destructive system in which corporations can move freely, but not people.

The border is more than a geographical demarcation. It is a racial and ethnic barrier that prevents many from discovering new possibilities.

The border is a bleeding open sore. It is where fear, control and domination over people is actualized into a war zone complete with casualties and prisoners.

But people are struggling against it everywhere, rising up and saying "enough is enough!" by tearing down walls, liberating detainees and using a variety of creative tactics like the no borders camp.
We invite all to participate the activities against borders as well as help us carry out the No Borders Camp that will be in Mexicali-Calexico.
