First of all the New River runs about seven miles west of where your camp was. The New River is extremely contaminated because the City of Mexicali, Mexico dumps much of its waste into the river before it flows north into the United States of America. There is a great symbol for you, Mexico dumping its waste into the United States of America!!! You were camped next to the All American Canal, which is clean fresh water used to irrigate all of the crops growing in the barren desert you described. That barren desert supplies most of our great nation with food in the winter months. The reason that water is so clean is because it is north of the border!!! Thanks for digging latrines so your excrement can seep into the canal that feeds our nation!!!
